installer for app?

Thanks for the suggestions, well I have started to try and use INNO setup, I
was able to get the application into a setup.exe file. Now I would like to
build on it by allowing from my app to be able to check for updates, I can
do this in two ways, put the current version info in a text file or in my
database then check against users version, the question is how do I then
upgrade the app if they have a older version?
