qtExternal issue

Thank you Mark!

But, yes, the path to the external is correct. Now, the external is
placed inside of a folder that sits inside of the folder where my apps
user data is kept. The path checks out.

Just to start the diagnosis somewhere, are you sure that the  
externals property of your stack is correct? It should contain the  
path to the external.
