crashes while using script editor in 2.7

I have also experienced crashes in the script editor on Windows XP Pro. 
Used to happen back in 2.5.x as well (on W2K), but 2.6.1 was wonderfully 
stable.

Waiting in eager anticipation of 2.7.1
