group weirdness

Copy and paste will create an entirely new group which is a copy of  
the copied group. Place group is the way to go if you've already  
created new cards before creating the group. I wonder what's  
preventing it from appearing. Are there other objects which could be  
obscuring it? It seems to work reliebly here, which is not much help,  
I know :)
