Me too, almost.
I belong to the persons who didn't fully understand menus in RR/Mac OS
-- oups, since MetaCard epoch ;-)

I ever had this opinion, that such a behaviour should NOT be automatic
(i.e. shifting card rect)...

Anyway, I found a no-brainer way: I always put my menus in a *substack*!
