It's probable that on one end or the other that the buffer is too
small. On the client try reading one line at a time and storing them
in another field/variable etc. The other option is to (obviously)
send one line at a time. While this increases your TCP overhead (but
not by a lot in a broadband environment, comparatively speaking) it
ensures that you won't overrun either the send or receive buffers.
