I don't think there's a physical limit. There used to be a limit of 63
files or folders in the root directory, but I don't know if that
carried through to NTFS. You may run into problems with some programs
not being able to access paths longer than 256 characters. Um... I
hesitate to ask this, but... why do you ask?
