Hi Jon,
If you have dowloaded Tutorials Picker I announced last week (see my
website), have a look at the "How to store images" tutorial:
The lab section allows you to import any image and resize it to fit
"the available space".
If you want to dig in the question, you might be interested by
Thumbnails Picker (in the plugins section of my website).
With this plugin, "the available space" is resizible and it swallows
1000 images in a row if you wish :-)
