I'm not as savvy  (mostly 'cuz when the PB 145 came out I couldn't afford
one), but I just recently gave away my 5300 (the infamous flaming laptop
of memory).  Still worked.  Still had MC v1.0 or similar on it.  Talk
about the energizer bunny...
