Why isn't Rev more popular?

Even though Transcript is pretty verbose, I find that I need to add  
25-50% more characters as comments to be able to go back and figure  
out what I wrote easily.  I don't see how it is possible to have the  
what convey the why, and even the what need some help now and then.
