Font converter

I need to convert a Mac True Type font to Windows. I found the shareware 
utility TTConvert (an old OS 9 thing) and it seemed to work okay until I 
noticed that some of the high-ascii characters didn't convert properly 
and are showing up as boxes in Windows.

Does anyone know of a reliable font converter utility? I couldn't find 
one for Windows except a commercial one. I'd rather not have to purchase 
a utility just to do this single conversion.
