Cool. I wondered about something like that but did not know about the
mirrorImage feature. The code Jim supplied seems to be just what I need.

I lazily solved that problem by creating an invisible mirror image (set 
the visible of "mirrorImage" to true) and then grouped the two images. 
"The center of gravity" is preserved.... ;-)
