I just wanted to mention 1 program that I use for making Installers on Windows.  It's called Inno Setup.  It is used by MANY major companies for their installers, it is customizable and scriptable.  The best part...it's completely FREE!  If your a Windows user and you download it and try it you'll definately recogonize it.
