HyperCard Script Language Guide (p120):

"Words are composed of any characters, including punctuation, 
delimited by spaces and return characters..."

In HyperTalk,

	on testWord wordNumber
  		get quote&"All My Children"&quote&&"is a soap opera."
  		put word wordNumber of it
	end testWord

puts (quote&"All My Children"&quote) when wordNumber is 1 and "is" 
when wordNumber is 2.

You knew that!
