Advice from Linux guru needed

Hi folks,

I will have MC (or Rev) CGI running on a Linux server
with Apache.
I need to trigger a script at fixed times (say every 24 hrs)
and don't see any other solution than somehow configuring
the server to do it.

Could someone be kind enough to let me know how to do
that (off-list please, as I'm not sure anyone else is interested)...
