The stacks probably don't have type and creator codes, and the Mac
doesn't know what to do with the ".rev" extension. There are bunch of
ways to solve this.

I have a little applescript that sets the type and creator codes to
Rev's. You can drop the stacks onto it and they get fixed. I can send it
to you in email if you want. It's handy if you have a lot of stacks you
want to change at once.

Or you can right-click (or control-click) on the stack in the Finder to
get a contextual menu, and choose "Open with..." and then choose Revolution.

If the stack has a ".rev" extension, you can select it and choose Get
Info from the contextual menu, or from the Finder's File menu. Expand
the "Open with" arrow and choose Revolution as the app to open this
file. Then click the "change all" button to tell the Mac how to open all
stacks named ".rev".
