OT Backup

I meant via cable modem. I live 3 miles (5 km) away from the shop and yes I am concerned about the openess of the internet, ftp or whatever. I am also open to a better idea. We are hoping to avoid physically carrying a box of hard drives around each day.

  Do you mean a direct eithernet cable connection (i.e. part of your LAN because you live next door) or did you mean cable modem (i.e. through the internet?)
