Well, I'll have to depend on Santa as I barely have enough to pay dock rent.
I don't need a big network, just 2, maybe sometimes 3, machines.

I have my old PB 1400 connected with a simple crossover Ethernet cable. The
G4 under OS 9.2.1 generates its own address, don't remember about the PB
under OS 8.6. I should check it out. But I can disconnect it, no problem.

Of course, that's not the PC hookup I want. I guess I'll have to save my
shekels for the router (I already have a hub somewhere).
