If the images are of the same form, then maybe you can just compare the  
binary files.

If they have transparent or translucent parts, then imageData() might  
be insufficient.  If they are solid colors, then imageData() will match  
a 7X11 image to an 11X7 image.

Also, Vikram's idea of using md5 is really cool.
