:-) However, since the OS is not on the hard disk, you don't need to load 
it on startup. If you don't have a hard drive in it you get a switch-on 
almost as fast as a pda. Also you dont need a fan for the chip so it is 
silent in running and it can be used for many embedded markets (where 
revolution could be used as the RAD.

There are many situations eg diagnostics. Rev app on a portable machine 
(with instant startup) fopr data acquisition and the final analysis done on 
a RISC OS desktop,PC or Mac.

That is the best way. The worlds first webcam was on a RISC OS machine (the 
famous Cambridge university coffee machine) and was only replaced this year 
after 13 years.
