Or an alternate medium selected which better achieves the team oriented 
goals, depending on the level of importance one places on team 
productivity and other factors.

Frankly, I will choose a tool with a longer learning curve which 
supports team development, over a simpler tool which does not. If 
nothing else, the team LIKES to work that way.
