replacing a stack in revolution

I was asking myself of how one could replace the scripteditor, and what 
messages one would have to send/recieve for it to function.
now bevore I look into the Rev-development stacks, I would like to know 
if someone did that already (maybe with another stack in the development 
enviroment).
I would also like to know if it would be easier to make with a plugin.

Any related hint/comment would be appreciated
