custom properties

Hi,

I have a mainstack with many substacks, many cds, grps,...
I also use many custom properties and custom sets to store data for 
easy manipulation (links,arrays,...).
Is it a problem if, for making it easier to write the code, I store 
all the customs in one unique stack and not in cds or grps or flds...?
Can it create a problem of memory ?
I work on Mac with OS X.
