Select no lines of a popup

In HyperCard, when you wanted to have no line of a popup button 
selected (so nothing would be showing in the popup menu), you could 
use the command 'select line 0 of cd btn "myPopup" '. When you try 
this in Rev, line one is selected. Is this a bug or a feature? Is 
there a straightforward way to do this in Rev?
