Yes: in the paint tools palette, choose a shape from the Brush Shape popup
menu (bottom left of the palette). The eraser will erase that shape. One of
the available shapes is a single-pixel dot, so you can get fine control.

(In a handler, set the eraser property to do the same thing.)
