Apple script & Rev

Not sure if this is a apple script question or a rev, but will try here
first

I am having rev doing a few apple scripts to control another program. I want
to be able to know when the script has finished. Send to rev I am finished
with that script. Right now ,but i do not like it, is apple script creates a
file that rev checks for everry 3 seconds. If the file is there then rev
goes on.
