Hi everyone
I have a minor problem that is getting worse and worse.
I use Metacard (soon to be updated since the new MC engine may not work
with our old license) and no matter what version i use i keep getting this
problem.
The problem happens always on terminal services (NT4, NT2000, NT2003) or
citrix based (NT4, NT2000, or XP) servers all of which are set on 8 bit
video for network performance. We have over 4GBs of ram, 4 CPUs so it is
not a feeble server...
Even though i dont use images (i cant tell you how bad the MC startup
screen or the MC color chooser looks...) but now the problem is that i get
color changes in display AND ONLY IN MC anytime.... this does not affect
any other programs...
I wont buy either any BOFH BS regarding our video driver problems since
ONLY MC is affected.
The problem is that it happens anytime and the displays, text or colored
controls are unreadeable... The stacks open correctly when begin the
session and it switches ANYTIME without reason...
Can anyone elucidate this? Is there a solution coming? Bugzilla was
already entered, bug was reported to Scott Raney 6 years ago, and it is
still happening... For an enterprise tool, this is really really starting
to look bad...
Thanks for any help or pointers
Regards
Xavier
