Fully.  I recall years ago on the SuperCard list someone posted something
like a "hierarchy of solutions to problems".  At the top of the list was
"fix", where the problem was actually solved.  The solution types progressed
downward from there, ranging from "workaround" to "patch" and eventually to
"kludge".  I think the above solution is a "sub-kludge."
