dot notation

I've actually been thinking about this for library scripts but for the
moment I'm sticking with _ which doesn't look as neat. I prefix all library
handlers with <library name>_ and priv_<libraryname>_ if they are internal
calls.

PS Lets hope Scott rereads that web page soon ;-)
