These observations hold also for all A and B versions of  2.5
(Windows).

SCRIPT EDITOR

- "cut"
   Does not cut any parts of the script. You have to use the backspace
key.

- "paste" (copying parts of the script itself and putting it elsewhere
in the same script)

   The paste command *does not* work when you try to paste the copied
selection immediately after or somewhere below the copied selection.
  The paste command *does* work  - if you paste the selection somewhere
*above* the selection or
if you delete some part of the script (e.g. a char) of the script before
pasting.


ANSWER EFFECT

This dialog for Quicktime visual effects works if you put the returned
code into a field, like in

on mouseup
  answer effect
  put it into fld 1
end mouseup

It does not return anything if you use the message box, i.e. if you type
"put it" into the message box after using the answer effect dialog. You
could still use the msg for this in Metacard 2.4.3

The "option" parameter apparently can no longer  be used with the
Quicktime effects.

ANGLE PROPERTY

If you set the angle of an image other than to 90, 180, and 270 ( if the
image is not provided with a transparent background by using Photoshop
or RealDraw Pro etc.) a black rectangular background is shown around the
image.

This is not the case when you use the rotate command.

 BUTTON NAMES/LABELS DIRECTLY ON TOP OF ICONS

This is a renewed request rather than a bug report:

Please implement the possibility to put button names/labels directly *on
top* of button icons ( a feature that - according to Scott Raney - is on
already on the request list).
