Strange behaviour with getResource!

With MC 243 build 6, Mac OS 8.6 Fr

I am in the habit of taking here and there some interesting excerpts
with text clippings. 

I am using the MC getResource function.

With this function I am fetching the infos in the text clippings, and I
put these infos in a MC stack.

That works -- but I seems there are no more CR!!!
Somewhat puzzled, I copied the contents of the field to a word processor
(Tex-Edit Plus). And in TE+ I could see RC were present!
Moreover, by pasting back to MC, I could "restore" my CR...

My first thought was I had LF in lieu of RC, but not...

Your advice?
