Cursor in popup stack

Ick. What a hack. But I tried it anyway and the cusor changes as 
specified when the stack pops up. But as soon as I move the mouse down 
the list of menu buttons, it *changes back* to the I-beam, even though 
the field underneath is locked.

I think this is a bug.
