Feature request: open stack visuals

Going crazy!  Wish to implement a visual effect on opening a stack 
with the GO command either via:

openStack/closeStack
lock screen/unlock screen
show stack/hide stack

None of the above will work when using the GO command from a script 
to open a stack in a new window.  Opening a stack in the SAME window 
will work, but if the stack is a different size, it will be resized 
to the current window, which is not desireable.

Cannot find a workaround though I've spent many hours trying this and that.
