Anyone here successfully craft a custom 'aete' resource to let users control
their MC-based apps with AppleScript using a more AppleScript-like syntax
than "do script" and "evaluate"?

Also, if we're looking to provide equivalent functionality for inter-process
communication across platforms, how pervasive is DDE, and is it worthwhile
considering COM?

I know there's a DLL for DDE -- any IPC options for Windows planned for the
MC engine?
