Apple Talk network problem

Thanks to Scott Rossi, Scott Raney, Robert and Ray for your insights.

From your messages I understand that
-Using a peer-to-peer AppleTalk network, no two users can load and run the
same standalone file from a remote machine.
-So the options (aside from changing the way the software works) are to either
(1) load the program onto each machine's local drive, or
(2) get a dedicated file server (such as Novell NetWare - the most common
for schools with Macs)

Is this correct?
