Delete Resource Fork

Anyone know a way using MC to delete the resource fork of a MacOS file?

I would like to remove the resource fork of a file entirely, not simply 
delete existing resources.  The only way I can guess is by copying the 
file into another binfile, but I'm hoping there's a way that doesn't 
require duplicating the original file.
