ios app: "Error opening database: cannot set file protection"

Well, this is a new message that I can't seem to find a reference to: I
have an app that I've been working on for months. I did the first build of
it that I've done in a bit, and got that message:
Error opening database: cannot set file protection
After hitting "OK", the app quits.

On the third day, God put the animals on hold for a few hours,
   and did a little diving.
