Recommended specs for Windows Development computer.

Pro. 

If a customer wants you to test on Home, buy it at that time. 

If a customer wants you to test on lots of Windows platforms, get Visual Studio Pro and build as many virtual machines or real machines you want (for development).

If you are the customer, uh, well, it still applies.
