Newbie :)

More seriously, we had something (switcher?) that let us segment the memory into multiple Macs.  I remember using it on a Mac Plus with 1mb, but think I also used it on a my 128k that had been boosted to 512k.

Then came multifinder in '87 (?) with system 5.
