How to make my app keep running in the bg

Scott:
I use the native sound player to play the sounds. Actually, what I really want to do is to keep the app in the foreground. I play the audio through my wifi and if it goes to background, the wifi gets disconnected and it’s a real pain. A previous version of this app stayed in the foreground. So, perhaps there is some kind of property that will keep an app in the foreground?
