Standard Icons for buttons in version 8.1 Standalones

I’m confused. It used to be that one had to place icons into one’s stack with the Object Library, if I remember correctly. But apparently that’s not the case with v8. How does one include the required icons in standalones using v8? Where is this “icon library” you speak of?

Thanks!
