where files are copied to in a Mac standalone - changed in 8.1?

Confirmed, at least on my Mac. Reported (bug 8619). Means code in the IDE has to be different from code in the standalone, which defeats the purpose of the handy wheeze mentioned by Jacqu, you might think!
