Create ean-13 barcode in LiveCode

Has anyone taken the time to create EAN-13 or UPC barcodes directly in LiveCode?
I need to add an addition to a productmanagement system (written in LC), so it is able to output labels with a barcode on it. I have found all the specs to do so, but if anyone already invented the wheel…
