How about something really down to earth? 

>> a simple database, like filemaker, that help dealing with day to day web
>> research :

• grab web pages picture and the link, 
• allow to write notes & emails
• and basic search & ordering functions.

or is filemaker simpler to set and use than livecode?? ah ah!!
