If it is a "feature", the change MUST be clearly documented in the
Dictionary AND Release Notes for LC8 since it will likely break existing
code.

It could be useful to know what the "selected" stack is even if no
control is selected on the stack, but is that "feature" worth breaking
existing code. Probably not.
