Another option is to use the newer object reference form of the snapshot 
commands (which renders the object into its own buffer) rather than the 
older rect form (which grabs the composite screen buffer), e.g.:

   import snapshot from this cd

...instead of:

   import snapshot rect (the rect of this stack)
