Trapping errors when a stack opens

OK - I did another test (without PowerDebug in the system) and it
functioned as expected: runtime error in the preopenstack handler in a
try/catch construct; the catch code executed properly and the script
continued past the end try statement. Do you maybe have something else
going on besides just a simple runtime error? There *are* some fatal
errors that try/catch exception handling won't trap, and maybe you've
got one of those?
