playing an mp3 file

I thought that was fixed recently. Players now use the native WMP on 
Windows if QT is missing, and WMP ships with the mp3 codec. I wasn't 
able to play mp4 files because Windows doesn't distribute that codec, 
but you can download it separately.

Does it not work?
