Facebook integration - getting images from?

I just looked at both the lesson here: http://lessons.runrev.com/s/3527/m/4069/l/48805-accessing-facebook-api-s-using-livecode and at the app academy and they both state that this works but I am not able to get the included stack and library to work in the latest iOS. Can anyone confirm that this does work???
