suspend/resume messages on Android?

Yeah - I need to do two things, submit 'session' data when the user suspends (on iOS I actually have to store this locally and then send it when the user resumes), and logout the user after a given time if the app has been suspended (there are potential security issues with some of the data our users are accessing). I had this all sussed on iOS but it's going to take a major rethink on Android.

Maybe not. I think you can potentially get a list of active processes and determine which one is active. If we could poll that list using an external - if we ever get externals for Android - then we could build our own suspend and resume routine.
